Miller’s Run Students Participate In GeoBee

SHEFFIELD — Miller’s Run School (MRS) hosted one of National Geographic’s GeoBee competitions on Jan. 24. Ten middle school students qualified for the finals and participated in this year’s annual event.

Betsy Ham, the eighth-grade English and language arts teacher, has organized this event for the last three years. Eighth-grade student Asa Rexford will represent Miller’s Run at the statewide competition at Castleton University in April. Prizes were donated by Pizza Hut and Community National Bank.
